We enjoyed visiting Monte Carlo and Cannes, both a short trip away. The hotel is clean, with well-renovated bathrooms and a beautiful reception area. It's also super close to public transport and shopping, making exploring so easy. Highly recommend for group trips!
Our experience was somewhat tainted when we were given a room near the elevator. The noise from the lift kept us up until late and started early in the morning. It was unfortunate since the hotel wasn't full.

Request a room away from the elevator to avoid noise disturbances for a more restful stay.

The room had a gorgeous view of the park, but the old carpeting and minimal furniture made it feel outdated. The staff was exceptional, friendly, and accommodating. However, the Wi-Fi barely worked, making it hard to do any work. The bathroom in my economy room was not well maintained, showing its age. The TV only had French channels and didn’t connect to any devices, which was disappointing for a longer stay. I appreciated the location, very close to the old town and the beach, but the thin walls were a major downside. I often heard noise from neighboring rooms, making it hard to relax. On our last day, the air conditioning started leaking water onto the carpet, which was a hassle, but the staff was quick to respond. Despite the issues, the hotel had good service and location, making it decent for a short, budget-conscious stay.

I enjoyed my stay at Carlton! The location near the beach and shops made exploring the area easy. My room offered a lovely view, although the Wi-Fi could have been stronger. A great experience, especially for a base to explore Nice.

This hotel suits me perfectly with free wi-fi in rooms, air conditioning, and 24-hour reception. I remember how the staff helped me find a place to exchange money on my first visit. I’m coming back next year!

Great location but noisy rooms
I enjoyed my recent stay with a perfect location close to the beach and local attractions. The staff was incredibly friendly and accommodating, making the experience even more enjoyable. However, the thin walls made it difficult to relax since I could hear everything from neighboring rooms. Overall, good for budget travelers but may not be ideal for light sleepers.
